The Rankin English and Fine Arts Department sponsor the Literature in the Library each February as a celebration of Black History Month. During this event, we have students read from literary works of African American authors. Last year, we were able to include a History of Blues Music, and this year we are planning to include Gospel Music. The event is open to students, faculty, staff and administrators.
