RAYMOND – ̨ʹٷվ Community College will host the art show “Highlights from the Permanent Collection” in Marie Hull Gallery opening Nov. 4-Dec. 1 curated by Gallery director and art instructor Cynthia Groya.
Groya has been working in the vault putting the college’s private collection in order and is excited about the show. She said visitors will see important names in southern art like Wyatt Waters, Mildred Wolfe, Bill Dunlap, Bob Dunaway, Marie Hull and Ellen Langford.
“I wanted the show to be dynamic. The placement of a painting is important. I wanted their juxtapositions to be complimentary,” Groya said.
There will be a reception and gallery discussion Thursday, Nov. 21 from 4-6 p.m. Marie Hull Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. and Fridays, 8 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
