With such a large number of diverse manufacturers in the ̨Íå²Ê¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ CC District ranging from energy, automation, aerospace, power tools, consumer goods, etc.., there comes a real need for a highly skilled, flexible workforce, today more than ever. Knowledge in math, blueprint reading, precision measurement, LEAN principles, and Safety are critical for these companies.

With a renewed focus on manufacturing ̨Íå²Ê¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ CC can customize training programs for new or existing companies to meet their specific industry needs. Programs such as Problem Solving, Auditing Techniques, Computer Skills, Leadership, and Preventative Maintenance are examples of how we are listening to the local industries to provide the training that they need. ̨Íå²Ê¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ CC can also provide standard training such as Forklift and Safety.

̨Íå²Ê¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ CC is introducing a Basic Manufacturing Skills Certificate program. This course is designed to provide the student with the ability to meet or exceed entry level requirements for most manufacturers. This program will strengthen the pool of employees for all District businesses, this program also allows a student to enter into an Integrated Pathway to more advanced Career Technical programs with advanced certificates or degrees.

Entry into this program requires a Silver level or higher on the Work Keys test.
