It also reminds us of what is most important: our connections to each other and the world around us. We need critical thinking, creativity, and social awareness to lead our species into the future, and these skills are at the heart of the arts and humanities. From public relations and advertising to politics and law to education and sculpting, the arts and humanities are the foundation for everything we do and everything we are.
